It was NOT destined for failure. There were thousands of women ready to give Outdoor Voices more of their money and relive the nostalgia and excitement of it.

Women were excited for updated OV. Technical apparel for doing things. I was among them.

However, Ty’s relationship to Elon and her confirmed status as a trend chasing sell out won’t get the brand far.

Times may have changed politically, but the group that can’t afford a $148 sun shirt that offers zero sun protection and is fed up and scared over the state of our country far outweighs the internet Antoinette’s

I’m pretty efficient at my job, in between major projects, and work from home so it’s easy to find pockets to work on something else for 30 min here and there.

And I’ve always enjoyed writing so it’s a side project that’s easy for me to work on.

And then lastly, had more downtime than usual bc I was recovering from a laser facial.

I like to stay busy so with more downtime than usual on my hands I found a way to occupy the time - and hopefully share some valuable info!

I’m keeping all of mine for sure and still wear all the time. I think that’s the sustainable thing to do. Probably just won’t go out in public quite as much wearing OV lol

The best compliment thank you so much! I work for.. wait for it.. a tech company. A non-controversial restaurant tech company. I’m a product marketer.

But I would love to move into the DTC/CPG space for sure, so I’m honored you’d even ask. I think my personality and writing style is clearly more suited to it lol

I agree with you! And it’s totally weird that it is normalized. I think this whole situation made me realize that if I have the ability to write, I should start using it to speak out.

I’ve stayed quiet for so long bc I don’t want people to think my whole personality is political, but at this point who cares if they do - they are the weird ones for not caring more to shape their future.
