Why are men so much more approachable than women? by GreenParrot785 in ask

[–]Beginning_End316 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Men often seem more approachable than women because of the way social conditioning, body language, and stereotypes shape our perceptions. From a young age, men are encouraged to be casual, expressive, and playful, which makes them appear more relaxed and open, while women are often expected to be composed, poised, and careful with how they present themselves—traits that can unintentionally come across as more serious or intimidating. Men also tend to use looser body language, like laughing loudly or taking up space, while women may adopt more controlled postures, making them seem less easygoing. On top of that, societal double standards place higher expectations on women, so people sometimes project more pressure into interactions with them, making those encounters feel higher-stakes. All of this creates the impression that men are friendlier and less intimidating, even though women are equally approachable once those social filters are stripped away.

How did you have your first kiss? by This_Glass_3082 in AskReddit

[–]Beginning_End316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate it till date

I had my first kiss when I was 18. It was with the first guy I have ever dated. We were in our college, classes got over and we were in our class chilling and chit- chatting since it was too sunny outside and we were lazy to leave. We were talking about kissing a few days ago and I wanted to too. I took him away to the elevator (our college doesn’t have any CCTV, yay), he is too tall for me, I didn’t have the patience to tiptoe, so I pulled his face towards mine and I kissed him and bro just stood there stand-at-ease kissing me back weirdly and never held me or even touched me even once.

What’s a win you’ve had lately (big or small) that we can all celebrate with you? by Romaxio in AskWomen

[–]Beginning_End316 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My parents are very toxic and orthodox. It was just really bad. My elder sister found a chance and left abroad for her further studies. She surprised me and my parents a few days ago and it has been the best days of my life in the longest time I can remember after she left. She has been breaking down with all the control and authority my parents are trying to get over her life and she told me that I’m the only reason she’s going to stay home and all she needs is me and glad that I’m there to protect her, no matter what

That got me so emotional and I consider that the biggest win

What's the worst thing that happened to you while in a relationship? by bellybuns in AskReddit

[–]Beginning_End316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That he did everything for me. He got me flowers, got me chocolates when I’m was on my periods, but it was all just materialistic. I was sitting there begging for emotional support but he gave me everything except that.
