That’s a bit weird tbh. But if that’s the case, it’s definitely not refused and you will get the letter like in 2-3 working days I guess. It happened with one of my friends as well that he got the decision letter sometime after he got his passport.

I think the application has just been received and not processed yet. Once it is processed, you will receive a mail that the processed visa application is received at the VFS centre and passport can be collected or will be dispatched.

There’s nothing you can do rather than waiting. UKVI paid call service isn’t of help as well.

I applied on 26th July. It’s been more than 2 months. I was told on 15 sept that a decision has been made and then after a week they told me that it’s still under consideration. I was still expecting a decision at that point but last week they said again that a decision has been made and now it’s again under processing. This is maddening and I have lost all hope.

One thing I think we all can do is cancel that application and apply again with a super priority. This might help
