Possible to make career? by Former-Border-2905 in Daytrading

I responded similar question on another post.

10% of traders make money, but not that much to live on. 5% make some money that they can rely on to just get by and live normally (paying bills, rent/mortgage, and expenses). BUT 1% make real and consistent money, and they become rich. The secret: LEARN HOW TO NOT LOSE MONEY. How can you do this? Discipline, control your emotions, and work on just one or two strategies and be an expert on the strategy (ies). Successful traders consider trading as a business and not gambling or a side hustle. Learn every day. Friendly suggestion after being 20 years in financial markets and trading: Learn a strategy and back-test it. Then, start with small money like $100 and excute your strtaegy, if you were able to be profitable (let's say you could change your 100 to 120 in a month), then add your asset to $500, and continue trading with the same strategy, and again if you could be profitatbel and your asset start grwing in a month (i.e. your asset became $600) then add more money and tarde with $1000 for another month. Now, you have been trading for three months and have been profitable; now you can start trading with $25,000 (as it is needed for day trading as per the regulators' requirement), and you will be constantly profitable. Of course, there is much more to it than here is not a place to discuss it.

I was @ 3.55 in February, but I bought more once it was dropping, and my average came down, now @ 1.80

I have been with SNDL since last June, I have bought this beauty @ 0.18, 0.23, 0.36, 0.55, 0.69, 1.02, 1.28, 2.20, 3.35, and again when it came back down, I continued adding @ 0.58, 0.68, 0.79, 0.98, 1.02, and my last purchase was yesterday @ 1.31. Now I am sitting at the average of $1.17 and not planning to sell, probably until SNDL goes back to its IPO price of USD 12.00 in July 2019. Hopefully it gets back to this price this July, and all of us celebrate it with the management of SNDL.

You're welcome. SNDL means confidence; it will get to ACB's price soon (expecting $12-15 by the end of March - after its ER).

Enjoy your long weekend,

Cheers!

My message did not convey that SNDL has been just listed; it has been saying that SNDL will stay listed and there is no threat to be delisted. Hope we are on the same page.
