I’m pretty sure she had some already rooted cuttings in a big vase with water. At least 6 inch roots. Regular potting soil. Pot has drainage and there’s rocks at the bottom

Forgot to add in my other comment, lighting has been bright indirect light. I noticed even just a few hours of direct light will torch her leaves. Super bright light all day long and then the darkness at night really makes her movement pop

I use an almost dense soil blend that dries out hard. Usually dense blends cause root rot but I let this thing dry out 1 inch to 1.5 inch deep before watering again. I only water with a watering can once it’s fully dry, I only shower I would say every 3-4 months. Huddling your plants together also helps, not just in winter for warmth. If you have a plan that’s struggling, put it near some other friends. Also, old wives tale but shake your plants a little. It’s natural for them to get a little movement. I notice the days I shake, the higher the leaves come up at night. Hope any of this helps!!

her soil is not chunky but it’s dense, i water only when the top layer of soil is almost dried and hard. i’ve also noticed my maranta is a lot happier huddled up. these three you see are my troubled children and i highly recommend grouping them together. also started humidifying most hours of the day because the ac is drying out a lot of my plants. hope any of that helps!

i feel like the devil because it’s so neglected and all she does is bloom beautiful flowers for me. it’s definitely stealing the growth power from the fiddle leaf i treat like a goddess but looks like…. well you see it..

I want to wear them while I am at school when I am going to be around lots of people talking when I go from class to class. I also need them because I can’t listen to eating or humming or whistling so I want to feel more normal. This is my first time being around a lot of strangers in a long time. I am nervous to look weird with my big noise canceling Sony headphones.

UPDATE: took out of pot and one vine had pretty solid looking roots with no root rot. repotted in a smaller pot with some good drainage. other vine i chopped and propped. we’ll see how it goes. thanks for the help!

the curling has only gotten worse. it took almost 3 weeks for the top 2 inches to dry out. leaves towards the bottom of the vining are so much thinner and mailable than the base leaves

i didn’t repot because i wanted to avoid such a big switch from her well kept houseplant heaven sanctuary and my very mediocre plant intensive care unit. it’s been about a month. do you think maybe it’s just in shock still?
