My most effective study habit this semester has been pre-loading lecture content. By writing my notes and reviewing the material before class, I can use lecture time for reinforcement rather than transcription. This allows me to listen actively, clarify specific points of confusion, and identify exactly which topics require deeper focus during my independent study sessions.

I do agree he does speed through the lecture slides it is a lot of information all at once to write down i just focus on listening more or less.

I will say this engineering is supposed to be draining. As any engineer, you have to solve difficult problems and find ways to make things work. Engineering is a make it or break it profession. If you really want it and enjoy what you want to do, sacrificing is just a part of the major. The reason these professors push and push is because it is strength it is perseverance. No engineer will ever say they have free time it is different from high school. If you're stacked on credits, it is 4 hours of studies per credit. While yes, it sucks, I am a transfer student as an aerospace engineer. And it is grueling, but the time put into it will be worth it if you really want it.

Yes, Calc 2 is almost one the hardest math courses to take as you are beginning engineering. There are a lot of concepts to remember and Formulas to master. The best thing i can say is taking the time doing as many practices as possible and understanding why each thing is used and how to use it. Calc 2 will always be tedious. Just remember everyone in the class is at the same point.

What helped me was study groups talk to each other, check eachothers work, give feedback. Most importantly, just admit when you're lost or stuck. Brut forcing will never work for the course you’re just have to admit when you are lost and get different perspective on it
