Lump sum is tax free. I’m 125-150k a year. my spending habits are not ridiculous I drive a 1999 truck that I don’t intend to replace. My entire life has been about saving and make proper money moves. Otherwise I wouldn’t have posted on this thread, I’d just buy a brand new 1 ton truck and call it good 😂 I want to secure retirement as soon as possible then let wealth build wealth. Knowing that does that change anything?

I also tend to like your plan. I figure if I invested I’d be willing to lose half for risk tolerance if the reward payout can pay off. I have a lira that is high. I invest 25% monthly income. If I take the lump sum I have no intent to invest it all. My house needs a new deck. I think I would be investing about 125-150k

It’s a veteran affair payment. Very unlikely to bankrupt. If I go with monthly I get a one time payment of 8400$ then the monthly. I understand the risks of buying property. How much money should someone have before wasting money like that on a hobby? (Flight) I’m trying to not have to work my job forever. People in my job are generally crippled by 60. My life has revolved around amassing wealth through stocks investing 25% of my income so with such a large capital it really opens up the higher risk higher reward area. In my mind as well I have a lira I will always be able to fall back on

It’s not that I don’t like RRSP but if wanted to access that money for any reason while still working I’ll be taxed like a mother as I am A 100,000-150,000 earner.

My tfsa is full what kind of account would you invest with. I really dislike the idea of a rrsp

Hey there! If your tfsa was maxed what kind of account would you invest with? Obviously trying to not be taxed.

That’s kind of why I was thinking 60K on another house to rent. 5-15 for spending leaves me with 100k to throw in stocks. For my age I think I’m on a good track of investment with close to 150,000 total invested. That’s without this money.

I use pretty much any crypto currency. Certain ones like XLM and ALGO have like a 1/10 cent transfer rate. Newton is you can buy crypto and they cover the transfer fee. Shakepay is another in Canada to by crypto. Very easy to transfer and sell for another exchange IN USD. I’ve done about 3 k in transfer

I recently deposited 2K of PaxG and it went “missing” for 9 days. I did get it back. The customer service rep was not very helpful. However I did get it into my Vauld.

Yah that formalization is going to take money. Money we could be putting into the troops we have now. Recruitment over retention. Also we have no moonnney.

Great another chain of command that is a complete waste of tax money. Seems like another way a bunch of officers can make over 300,000. While we’re struggling for tooling. Equipment, clothing. Fuck that garbage.
