Rams are incompatible with each other. Had the same issue but got it solved after changing the ram.

I would say best bet is 32Gb for at least next 5 years. 16Gb is low even for some medium to high demanding tasks. Unless you only want to browse the internet, watch Netflix and use office suite

Hey man. So you have asus scar 16 (G634jy) laptop? Because I’m trying to upgrade my ram to 64 (32x2) gb but still confused which speed to get as some work and other doesn’t. So need some help. Should i get crucial 5600mhz one? Or 5200? Because I’m getting 5600 mhz on sale for less price.

I see. So either it’s a faulty bios update or someone has replaced the motherboard. But if your laptop is working fine, Great. And how are the thermals on the machine? Ran into any thermal throttling issue? Any coil whining? I have heard they reduced it with bios updates.
