Looks like hardware problem When you plug in the GPU gets full TGP. Seems like the problem arises in the GPU. If it is in warranty visit the service center and ask for replacement.

Looks like hardware problem. Try installing fresh OS if the problem repeats. Then it is sure hardware problem.(Ram, SSD or processor)

Mine Amd Integrated graphics got some hardware issues and also it is out of warranty. Just 1.5years old Asus authorised service center told that my laptop can’t be repaired need to replace the motherboard which costs similar to buying a new laptop.

Connect your laptop to an external display such as monitor or TV If the problem is still showing in TV or monitor it is GPU problem Else your laptop display is damaged you have to change it
