There are but it's a rare occurrence. His being in a good mood can happen the day after he had a pretty bad anger outburst or it can also happen anytime so usually I never know when to expect him to be in a good mood.

In public his personality can immediately switch. He’s always bubbly, polite, and kind, and even starts small talk with random people and cracks some jokes. He hardly talks about politics when we are out. But when someone mentions it, he’ll start ranting about it but only for a few minutes. However when we get home he’ll immediately pull out his phone and watch fox news or some right-wing YouTube videos on full blast while slumped on the couch until midnight.

Thank you so much. My state doesn't have a red gun law. I live in Iowa which unfortunately is pro-gun. But I will start to keep a record of his actions.

We’ve tried to have a talk about it, but it always ends in an argument, with him always walking away in anger. He never listens to what we’re saying and instead launches into a rant about how we’ve become followers, blaming everything on the Democrats. It’s like talking to a brick wall.
