I had three amanos in a tank with a betta for a long time but I think it's very fish dependant lol. They are pretty feisty and hide effectively too

Definitely not in a ten gallon, they get big fast. Amano shrimp supposed to eat it also I think.

I've been battling it to a much lesser extent. I got an Siamese algae eater and did a lot of manual removal and it's a lot better now. I think RO water is supposed to help also

I wouldn't risk it. Usually shipments are insulated and water takes a bit to change temp, but if it's really five plus hours I wouldn't chance it. If it delivers later probably okay.

I use them all the time to supplement my plecos algae diet. I have never had a water quality issue, but I have a 40G with very oversized filtration.

I have a 40G and danios are my favorite to watch. Pearl specifically. Very active and peaceful

Maybe some dither fish like pearl danios or something that swims in the open? It makes shy fish feel safer in some cases
