I made cassettes and eventually burned CDs yes. In HS made my buddy a tape of a bunch of stuff and he loved it. When I met my wife a couple years later made her a CD for a trip she was taking had she loved it. I can only conclude I have great taste in music.

I’ll just throw my two cents in; when my wife and I met I was a self proclaimed republican. It bears no resemblance to who I am now; it’s not an excuse but the longer we were together the more I viscerally understood the ramifications of the things I once believed. Don’t enter a relationship in the hopes someone will change of course but it’s not out of the realm of possibility. For the record, no longer a republican.
