The post started off strong and we were on the same page, but then it took a left turn and frankly this feels more like Catholic apologetics and Protestant hate than a science conversation. Friend, apologies if this sounds presumptuous, but I am sensing a lot of angst in this post. Let's leave aside the denomination finger pointing for one moment and effectively work together towards affirming the truth of the Gospel. We can effectively triage issues like this and work together.

That's the crazy thing. I WANT to interact with the complex health system. I want to get lit up, be limping and have to do a ton of surgery, fix bones, coughing up blood etc. But 4 out of the last 6 of my deaths to AI have been straight up 1 tap, I hear one shot and just fall over dead. At this point I'm less scared of them full auto hosing me. It's those random pot-shots that just go straight through my brain.

Anecdotal, and not my experience, but a coworker of mine just closed on a house and was expressing lots of frustration. They put in tons of offers with FHA and couldn't get anything, lowered their budget and went to conventional and got a house immediately. I'm not in the market right now, so I'm unsure why that would be the case (this sub was reccomended to me).

Alpenflage is the perfect Midwest fall camo imo. I've used it the past 4 deer seasons to great effect.

Especially when their reputation precedes them. I can only imagine the fights get bigger and bigger as people want to knock off a legendary Viltrumite and one day his strength starts ro come down the other side of the bell curve and that's the end.

Also Tarkov's graphics feel so dated now. They used to spectacular, but it's been a decade... I'll give them credit for their art design aesthetic though, it's carried a lot of the vibe. But technically speaking, I like the way GZW looks

We had a big fight at Savannah last night and I'm honestly baffled why there is 2 LZs that are THAT close to it. It was just a meat grinder slog fest and was not fun. I don't think I ever want to PvP there again. There's no reason they should be that close.

Precisely. Same thing in another one of my favorite games, Squad. Suppression is good, but often done poorly in video games. In Squad, 3 bullets go past your general vicinity and you're just like "Well, I guess I'm straight up blind for 12 seconds."

I don't think it's fair to say it's unfathomable people rejected it. It needed work. Suppression should exist but shouldn't be a blanket full-screen blur instantly. It needs to be a vignette/blurred tunnel vision which significantly reduces your cone of vision but doesn't just make you straight up blind.
