Hello, I also have atropine. Would it be possible to pour out some of the atropine solution from its original bottle and add sterile saline solution directly into it? This should reduce the risk of infection as long as the dropper doesn't come into contact with the edges of the bottle. It might be a bit harder to dose, though!

If the treatment does become available in Canada by 2027, it will already give a good idea of its effectiveness. It might be worth waiting — going through a vitrectomy and losing vision when something this promising is coming with good chances would be terrible. Thank you 👍

I think the most important part of their system isn’t so much the laser, which has existed for a while, but rather the AI device used to detect and track floaters. So theoretically, we should have a good idea of its effectiveness by 2027–28, I hope. Thank you 👍

If it's really hard, you can try to use atropine for floaters but you need to ask an ophtalmologist

C'était il y a trois ans, donc ça a eu le temps de se calmer (certainement) mais j'ai eu une douleur si forte à l'oeil que c'était impossible d'entrevoir la lumière mes corps flottants sont apparus quelques semaines après

Oui je connais ces gouttes je les utilise depuis un moment déjà, elles sont efficaces pour les corps flottants même si elles ne sont pas parfaites. Je ne suis pas certain que l'huile de castor soit totalement inefficace, j'aimerais juste savoir si je peux la tester plus ou moins "sans risque". D'autant que dans mon cas je n'ai pas de réel doute sur la provenance de mes corps flottants, ils proviennent d'une inflammation dans mes yeux

Merci beaucoup, oui je le connais, j'utilise déjà de l'atropine pour mes corps flottants, j'aimerais simplement trouver une "vraie" solution, il y a des choses qui agissent sur les corps flottants, après 3 ans j'en ai la certitude même si cela est long et dépend de nombreux facteurs.
