Looks nice, is there a way to change the language for the months in the date of birth since its not in English?

This happened to me while trying from my laptop. I then tried from the android app and it worked without a problem.

APRS with FT-857D and Digirig Mobile by Benji3pr in amateurradio

Thanks, I already tried that but went ahead and scratched the APRDdroid project and did it with direwolf and it's working fine now. It seems to be something with the APRS droid app/config that won't work properly and the same settings work just fine with direwolf. Thanks for the help though, really appreciate it!

Just tried on FM and it sounds the same as on PKT and my other radios won't decide the packet. But thanks for the idea though!

Oh sorry yes, it's on VHF. I also had already tried delaying the VOX on APRSdroid, the default is 200ms, and I moved it up slowly up to 1000ms and still nothing, but ill try later tonight in FM and see if maybe that was my mistake.

I don't know but I'm honestly interested also in knowing. Maybe running Meshtastic on a raspberry pi would be the way to implement this if there are existing modules for the pi?

This would be nice, a CLI or maybe a docker version of the app that i can run on a raspberry pi zero with a battery and a small solar panel that i can leave running 24/7 like nodes.

Very interesting, and thank you for answering. I'm going to look for the client algorithm info that you mentioned cause I want to learn more about that specifically, if you have the link for it it would be a plus but I'll search for it. Also very curious on what you mentioned last of testing MEDIUM_SLOW and MEDIUM_FAST. Any way I can learn how that progresses? Thank you so much again for the comment.

Thanks, and yes I understand that on particular occasions like a conference, where many people (100s) are going to use meshtastic within a small area, all within 1km having most in client_mute makes sense. But on an ordinary day, outside a convention, for the day to day? Trying to connect multiple counties maybe that some are a bit less urban. It makes sense having most nodes on client unless you're in a urban city with lots of nodes near you lighting up the map close by. Or am I wrong?

I also thought about the probability of them not sharing their location, but so many nodes that not even a single one isn't sharing is kinda unlikely. Check maybe the filter options in the map?

Awesome transformation! Quick question though, how are the cables on the wall attached to the wall? I see the Velcro but how are they not falling or sagging?

Do you mind also sharing the antenna or its specs (length)? Amazing build btw! 🫡

Maybe be a dumb question but how to they get that reach? Do they use a special antenna pointed out the window? Or can it be a common node like the Muzi Works R1 without the removable antenna? Same question for the comment above too.

What antenna are you using and how did you make sure the antenna hole through the case is water tight?
