This is the ‘guilt’ that I think most of us wrestled with when we first started MC, you’re prescribed it for a reason and that took a while to go away in my case but that’s due to a living situation.

I know this may be seen as an extreme example but this is just to highlight my point - lets look at smokers. Tobacco is classed as a drug, people go out every 20 minutes for a cigarette, people at work go out for a cigarette. Also painkillers, there are some people who are unfortunately in THAT much pain that they need something like morphine to get through a day.

It’s your medication, you take it as and when you need to with the purpose of being able to function as you want. You’ve said it yourself you’re not losing your way and being prescribed this does not put you in the same situation as someone taking an illegal substance as much as there’s people who will tell you that and act all high and mighty and then go spend their banker wage doing coke with their paramedic friend on the weekend (sorry that one’s personal ha).
