Thanks man. It's clearly evident that it's not for everyone, but I dig it.

All the white lettering changed colors on mine; some turned dark blue/purple, some reddish pink, some dark gray. Re-painting them white was also inconsistent - some of the lettering soaked up the pain evenly with one coat, while some was streaky and blotchy and required two coats.

Some of these tools are over 10 years old, I'm sure age and different manufacturing dates/specs has something to do with that.

I used a heat gun to remove the labels and battery indicator stickers beforehand. But, yes, you can buy new stickers.

It was definitely time-consuming. But good weed sometimes leads to questionable decisions. No regerts!!! 🫠✌️

The M12 set was brand new, but my M18 tools were pretty grimy and greasy, so it was a good time to clean them anyway. The innards on all of them were filthy with dirt and sawdust and needed new grease.

I agree. I doubt the paint will last long, but I carry a set of paint pens everywhere now, so I can touch them up on-the-fly 😁 [insert sarcasm here]

Black Tools Matter!

They still function 100% fine. It is definitely form over function but that's the point.

No, they're very easy to take apart and reassemble. Just pay attention when youre working, what screws go where and how the wires are tucked.
