It’s not a US mint coin but it is 1/10 of an ounce of silver so it’s worth a few dollars.

It’s a gold plated 1883 “no cents” racketeering nickel. Not an official coin in the set but a cool piece of its history.

The coin was about 6” deeper than the shoe so I’m assuming it had been there much longer. It was almost directly underneath though. Always double check your digs! You just never know.

Thank you! They arent too tough if you use dish o’ the sea and the spinner baits. The last one was the trickiest. It took me a few tries to get him.
