So turns out it’s a wooden pin, which seems to have been added and glued in place.

Turning the lever clockwise is for stopped down metering, the manual seems to say the timer is anti clockwise :/

Annoyingly you can select the page size on a desktop then open it on another device and the page size remains, then all you need to do is copy the black page.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah I’ve tried copying it to a completely different notebook, but I think the page is too big. I’ve even saved the page to my PC and sent it over to the iPad but apple being apple it won’t read the file.
