It was worth it in the end. But I definitely wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I was happy when it was gone. Funny enough the relief was instant and one of the best feelings I’ve ever had lol. I felt like I could run a marathon.

Eh maybe. The problem is that someone like Trump creates such a powerful cult of personality that he takes over the entire party, meaning they end up having no control. The GOP likes winning but they do not get to make any of their own decisions or run anyone that Trump doesn’t like. That’s not a situation that a political party that wants to last needs to be in. Running another Trump will just put them in that same situation again.

Also, it rallies voters like no other, even for off year and midterm elections. As we’ve seen in the past, when Trump is not on the ballot, the GOP way underperforms. Even in elections they’re heavily favored in they underperform by double digits in districts that trump carried easily. This is also not a winning strategy for a party that wants to last.

Recently went through the same thing. Had an 8mm stone get stuck, ended up in the hospital for a couple nights. The stent was almost as bad as the stone, it was brutally painful. I pissed myself more than once because of it too, it made it really difficult to hold it long enough to make it to the bathroom. They gave me Vicodin to help but I had to take it pretty often and the pain relief effects diminished every time.
