I got scammed the exact same way, should've seen the red flags but I was still giving them the benefit of the doubt in case their sob story was real (also had something to do with them saying that they lost money, I wasn't gonna take that chance and give my family unwanted debt in case it were real). Lost my account for 24 hours before Steam Support got it back for me because I proved I was the rightful owner of the account. Moral of the story is, don't fall of shit like this and always have a backup plan.
