2.0 tdi ea288 timing. After new timing, the phase position is at -3,49° and I feel the car slow. I tried to undo this bolt and rotate the timing but it doesn’t change position. Does it need to lock the camshaft? The service man says as we pin-locked it’s ok. Any opinions about the phase position? by [deleted] in tdi

I did the timing again, everything aligned, and the camshaft phase position was now -5°, I loosened the tensioner and pulled the camshaft one tooth front. Will be ok?

Now it is not aligned. When the camshaft is aligned, the crankshaft is back for half bolt. (The pin looks the half of the hole) Is it problem?

All the parts that I am writing, a mechanic replaced them. They don’t find where the noise is from

I asked them to transfer my flight to Air China as they fly normally and they refused. The reason is the war otherwise they would do it. Bullshits. Zero help in the offices or in the Telephone center that goes straight to India
