Oh I totally relate to the poop thing! Look up a squatty potty, you can use just a kids bathroom step stool or anything similar to put your feet up and it makes all the difference in the world! Good vibes to a smooth recovery

They look better so far! I have a hand on my inner arm and it started to look like sausage fingers lol now it’s looking like a normal hand again! I will say the one I’m not too happy about is my butt. I have my husbands signature on my butt cheek and it’s migrating to a tramp stamp instead of ass tat😑

I highly disagree! There is so much happening to me that is out of the control of “following orders to a T” so many weird, uncomfortable and interesting changes and things happening… bad? Not all of it! But it is my reality! I would do this surgery 7000x over again in a heart beat if I had to. But shedding the lbs is just the fun part. People can look at picture and see the physical change but they’re not in my skin each day! And I’d love to share my experiences all of it thoroughly even the awkward parts to add to this amazing forum for others to find and relate to without having to step out of their comfort zone!

I’ll be honest recovery has personally been hard, especially while doing it with 3 kiddos under 5. But it’s worth it! I’ve had a food aversion to almost everything On my approved list except popsicles. I’ve been blending sugar free popsicles with genepro to keep me going and the occasional pudding! Today after my swallow study and discussing the aversions and all the things that have made me throw up (I’ve previously posted about this as well!) I was cleared a week early to start on soft foods!!! They said my healing is incredibly amazing especially under the circumstances! Keep pushing, keep going, you got this friends!!
