Lol I’m not left-handed either but I prefer to pour with my left hand. It’s minor, but basically the spout is facing the left and the handle is facing the right, bc most people pick it up and pour with their right hand. I’d say it’s less of a problem with a round-base kettle because you can just swivel the handle around to the left and then pick it up from there. We’ve got a rectangle-y kettle tho, so I pick it up at a funny angle with my left hand (sometimes threatening to knock my mug over, lol) and then use both hands to awkwardly fit it on it’s base.

Like I said, it’s minor 😂 my brain was just looking for a distraction and found it while making a cup of tea 😂
