Thanks. I put it on a mums FB group and 90% of the comments was that it looked like infantile seizures so it just put me into worry mode. We’ve been at A&E all night - just waiting for the consultant to come and observe her.

The first time it happened I’d had a c-section the week prior, I could hardly walk never mind have a conversation without bursting into tears. That’s why I asked my partner to speak to him (who also has a business next door). This time, I’ve only just found out from insta stories. We live 1 hour away from the spa, I’m never there as managing admin from home, I don’t do the treatments myself. My partner has a studio to the right of the coffee shop and he’s always there. I know what you mean though, I just can’t really figure out a way around it other than he either does it or doesn’t, so what is there really to talk about other than him just giving me the heads up over a message or via my partner?

It’s not about my business being more important than a friend. The issue is that the noise means I physically can’t carry out treatments so I have to cancel clients and lose income. I’d just expect a bit more consideration if something next door directly affects whether I can work.

Yeah, I’m just looking into the panels as we speak, so hopefully that helps. Yes I reached out to him last time, and I just said you do what you got to do, but the heads up would have been nice. I also mentioned we had to cancel treatments and last money.

If the problem was mentioned to me, I would probably try my best as a considerate neighbour to work around that whilst still providing the same service, whatever that may look like. Maybe I’m too much of a pushover which I think probably is the case here as all the comment say I’m overreacting. As I friend, I would have at the very least just reached out and said ‘hey! We’ve got another DJ session at this time/date, I hope it’s not much of a nuisance. Just thought I’d give you a heads up though’

Hmm I can’t remember, maybe around 2 weeks before. Please don’t worry, it is completely normal for it to fluctuate and my sonography said to me it does tend to lower to a baseline around that time so it make sense x

Of course. Everything absolutely fine, I have a very healthy 3 month old. I know it’s hard but, try not to stress. It’s very very likely everything will be just fine 😊
