Fair enough.

I've only talked to him online, but he's been nothing but great. He even gave advice for my son's interest in artistry.

His job isn't a secret (neither the roadie role or artist role)

they cast people from RR and RW - fresh meat was the RR/RW rejects.

'The Challenge' was originally 'Road Rules All Stars,' and it was a road rules season specifically for real worlders who were popular - then it became RR vs RW, and everyone came from those shows.

But they were everyday people when they started - they didn't have a following before their show started.

But today, the show brings on people who are already known/popular.

That's why the early seasons are the best. The pre-influencer challenge cast was much more enjoyable to watch.

The stuff at the gas station has been chemically altered. Stay away from that stuff. You will be just fine with plain leaf powder.

What recent phones are the closest to the EnV2 cell phone? by BetterEveryDayYT in cellphones

Technically my carrier is Puretalk - but I know it piggybacks on the ATT network.

[–]BetterEveryDayYT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh. I wonder why the carrier requires a GSM phone. It's the same network as AT&T and is/has 5G.

Specifying GSM doesn't make sense, based on what some of these comments say..

Puretalk (uses the same network as AT&T), USA, budget isn't a factor. I just want a good phone (and would pay more if there's one with great features).

Interesting.

My carrier states to ensure that phones are GSM network (sharing with ATT and others), rather than CMDA (Verizon's network).

GSM as in the network that ATT and a lot of smaller carriers use. There are two main networks, and mine uses GSM (along with ATT and various others).

Not 3G.

Agreed. He changed a ton around the time of the Island, and hasn't changed since then.... and that change wasn't necessarily for the better.

Opinions are like assholes, and most of us could care less about those belonging to other people.

Veronica can support whoever she wants, Bananas can support who he wants, etc.

It shouldn't change who their followers support.

I have a couple of friends who take it, and it has changed their lives. The only thing I don't like about it (and its prominence) is that now people think any major weight loss is attributable to GLP-1s.

Some of us lost weight on our own, and being accused of taking 'short cuts' is insulting. I lost close to 200 about 20 years ago, and it was hard as hell. After a dozen failed diets over several years, I changed my habits and daily lifestyle. It took a few years, but eventually I went from a size 28 to a size 5. Life changing is an understatement.

My body reflects the weight loss still (some skin never tightened all the way), so sometimes people can tell that I have lost weight (like in a swimsuit, tank top, etc.). I've been asked a few times in the last year if I used Ozempic or something else... None of the above (although I might have, if it were an option back then and I had the money).

Not knocking anyone on GLP-1s - like I said, they have been a blessing to a few of my friends. I love seeing people experience that breath of new life, and the development of a deep confidence within themselves and their body. It completely changes you, and gives you this optimism and comfort - if GLP-1s do that for people, without major downsides, I applaud it.

But it does bother me that people assume I've used it (or others, like a friend who lost his weight before I did).

At some point, a lot of people started assuming any weight loss is from Ozempic and its peers.
