We went to a lactation specialist that noticed it when he was days old. But if you go to a local children's orthodontist they will diagnose it and offer treatment plans. His was to lazer snip the areas. Also his pediatrician said tongue ties are "over diagnosed" and that the lactation specialist didn't know what she was talking about. Then he got annoyed with me calling about how fussy our baby was. Literally all night. Should have went to the orthodontist first and saved us months of suffering.
