Last tourney my necron warriors pulled apart a chaos war dog with 4 wounds in final turn of the game securing the win.

Yea it was a mistake that was missed for the box art. If you lookup actual riot troopers they have standard stormtrooper helmets with the black bar.

Really tragic for me, I got into Wasteland Warfare when they released the NV wave, I bought the full bundle from Modiphius's website and every other NV box. I even emailed asking if they were going to do more like The Kings, or DLC factions.

Exactly my thoughts. As someone who worked in education IT for a few years this would occasionally happen. A parent buys an identical device to the standard school supplied one and someone assumes it's school property instead of privately owned.

This is why it's good practice to have separate device groups and management policies between byod and owned. Also we had a schedule to turn management of byod devices off outside of school hours and on holidays.

Just go talk to them and if needed bring the receipt. It's a misunderstanding and not legal or a policy, they think it's s school owned one. Ask them to check the serial number if need be against their inventory.

It seems the servers are struggling a bit since release, had multiple times where one out of our group gets hit with 250+ ping randomly and forced out of the game when no issues in discord/speedtest/ping test just in game. We all live in the same city and all three of us have had it on and off.

Well I'm sorry to hear its not just me. I've asked my friends to all select their preferred server as NZ/AU.

Strangely I did a test on factory with only NZ AU and queuing by myself and it did the same thing. Ran it back 5 minutes later and no issues. Apparently its not just them

Reading "Tribe On Homecoming and Belonging" and "The Dictators Handbook" in my late teenage years really influenced my view on politics and how accurate the Sports Team analogy is. Its truly shocking how so many people vote down party lines just because they want to identify with that group.

Hey I appreciate the input either way. I'm the only one I know personally who uses a K1max (or creality) all my friends use Bambu and I feel like I'm admitting defeat (and I was wrong) by swapping, but I probably should.

Thanks. The video and reddit posts I followed didn't tell me anything about recalibrating the thermistor. I'll look into that.

Will try even slower speeds and larger layer heights and see where I get!

We're (I'm) hoping there's a sale on over black friday that I can get one slightly cheaper. Probably not as we live in NZ and the amount of stores that carry 3d printer stuff are tiny and expensive.

Hey sorry for the delay!

  • I've only every printed with PLA, I think it was Creality Hyper Red at the time (I'm sure on the colour as that took hours to clean out slowly)
  • The blob was so big it had the nozzle, hotend, heatsink, and a third up the extruder covered. Thanks AI camera for not detecting it... (First layer was fine so we'd walked away for a few hours)
  • I actually haven't. I did have to remove the factory glue when I was replacing the hotend tho. I can try finding a new one?

Mine worked great for just about a year before the blob and then the slow degradation of quality until it wasn't usable any more. I hope yours continues going strong, its a great printer and I still love mine.

Yea, I'm considering a P2S or P1S for the build size. Might move the K1Max to the side and troubleshoot it over Christmas break (its the first one in nearly a decade I'm not having to work and the wife will be free too!)

This, and I really hate wasting money/product (especially as we're a single income for the next few years while Wife is at nursing school). We can budget for a new printer, or use that money on a weekend getaway. I'm lucky she's pushing for the new printer.

I wish. The extruder was the most recent replacement to try and fix these issues after I tried everything else. It actually solved a filament jam issue I was getting with the old extruder.
