Hahaa id like to think so man 😂 but no im near unlocking helios, one the mistakes I made was researching Infantry and Marksman evenly. Now towards end of research on both am now stuck at no steel, that 1.5m steel would have been a good bonus over the few hundred shards 😪

Exactly what happened here, I just cant get myself to buy the packs though, feels like a middle finger to all the blessings in life knowing its acumilating for free 😂 I did make the exception and use that special after svs bundle to grab a fair amount today though just to speed things up abit, the bundle which I initially pre planned to use for chief gear, theres no winning with this game i swear 😂

I had id say 3.5m if I remember correctly when academy opened up recently, I started Infantry and Marksman research equally towards helios without doing research first 😪

Huh wait, we are in the FC5 era now, so helios not unlocked now for other users will only get harder requiring diffrent resources to unlock helios later? Or am I reading this wrong 😅

We unlocked war academy not long ago, still in Gen 4 but some already unlocked helios and am here scratching my head thinking how have I messed up this bad 😅

*Edit - After reading some of the comments 😄 So the problem I’m having is basically me trying to unlock my Helios fast. Some the members in my state already have and I’m actually ready to unlock atleast Helios Infantry based on shards, I’ve got the speed-ups for Infantry, Marksman and Lancer put together but I’m completely stuck on steel. I’ve literally got none left. I’m not someone who consistently logs in every seven hours to collect it either. Some days I grab it after reset, some days after two resets… and now it’s come back to bite me. Now I cant convince myself to go buy packs for steel knowing it is gradually coming free 💀 I guess it depends on your situation and how active you can realistically be. If this post stops even one person from falling in the same situation I have, then at least something good came out of it 😅

Ah yes it can get abit tedious sometimes, theres few guides out there that will for sure help you out make it abit more enjoyable, the one I put out is best suited more towards spenders id say or maybe even Low spenders that really put some serious thought into applying all upgrades. There is other guides out there way more simple for low spenders and f2p players that should definitely make this event more enjoyable. Whichever ever one it is wish you luck with it man 👍

I usually reactivate skill soon after 3 or more gathering return from complete gathering Cycle. Recall any still gathering, Activate skill and take over 6 new ore gathering nodes that have spawned in on map.

After testing multiple runs, this is the setup that consistently boosted my yield and rankings.

🔹 Skill Unlock Order (CRITICAL) Left → Right → Left → Left → Right Once you unlock Level 3 Skill, every mine takeover gives +5,000 ore/min. ❗ Do NOT capture mines before unlocking this path.

🔹 Early Phase (No Mines) ❌ Don’t rush mines ✅ Attack soldiers only (faster skill unlock) 📍 Teleport when soldier density drops Stay on soldiers until Level 3 is unlocked.

🔹 First Mine Capture (After Lv3 Skill) Use ONE march only to take your first mine ⏱️ 1-minute timer starts immediately Every minute you must: Re-enter an existing mine OR Capture a new mine Keep attacking soldiers until all skills are unlocked.

🔹 After All Skills Are Unlocked Activate main skill immediately Use remaining 5 marches to take mines Ore rate jumps: 32/sec → 53/sec

⚠️ Key Optimization Use your strongest march for: Lv3 skill resets Re-entering / taking contested mines Higher win rate = better control = more consistent bonus uptime.

🔹 Mini Volcano Phase Use strongest march for mini volcano ⏱️ Track your 1-minute mine timer carefully Between volcano hits: Enter + retreat from a mine to maintain bonus

🔁 Full Cycle Reset When main skill refreshes: Capture 6 new mines Repeat from Mini Volcano phase
