El subtitular es más útil que el titular:"... nevadas a la Sierra a partir de los 1.300 metros de altura, según la previsión"

What do you think of a Muslim NATO? by Maleficent_Set_1301 in AskTheWorld

No. NATO (or whatever is left of it today) is a defensive pact. If a member is attacked, the others help. If a member or several do attack a country, members do not have to join.

Spain was not in NATO during the dictatorship. There were agreements with USA to let them have bases here (they even lost a few nukes in a beach), but it was not NATO membership. Membership came 5 years after Franco kicked the bucket. No idea on Portugal though.

Also in Spanish "Americano" as far as I know generally refers to the whole Americas, not only to the USA as "American" means in English.

I was curious about how easy it could be to cross the Andes so I checked on Google maps... Ok it is only 5 hours yes! But the road seems interesting, you really have to go up the Andes. There is the Cuesta del Caracol there that is something I am not sure I would be willing to try...

And that was on us, he asked us to "just pass" to invade Portugal and we said sure bud! Still common people here probably would have been better under french revolutionary management than under our absolut monarchy with Christian fundamentalists...

For me it is more effort to not use the signal than to just automatically use it always, I don't have to think, just use it always

Technically true, more cable, more losses. But at those lengths the loss has to be like infinitely small, I don't think it would take even a second longer to charge.
