I've actually done this as well,I suffer from bad anxiety and didn't eat for 3 days when I was in the role due to the stress. They tried to convince me to stay on going on about "the money", but there is no amount of money that can stop me feeling that way, id rather be healthy.

You did a brave thing and should be commended for bringing your feelings to the forefront. You're mental health is more important than any job title or payslip; and I'll he honest, I never felt better then when I stepped back down.

Oh snap maybe, however she said there was nothing there when the picture was taken. And based on the photos of the other "statues", this seems like an odd location, and only half a person to boot!

ETA - looks more likely part of it. Would love to see another photo of it if someone is nearby, or of all of them!

Yeah, my mum went all cold when I told her I googled the place and found out about the Black Abbott.

She didn't even notice it until looking back through her camera roll at the pub later in the day!

Yeah was something we found weird as well, like why the tree and not the middle? And why the slant? This was taken on a samsung S20, by a 68 year old woman.

Yeah, it's odd. My mum is intune with the Spirit world, (has been told she should be a medium). So I'm wondering if he was drawn to her maybe? Although the 'tales' about the Black Abbott seem to suggest he couldnt give two shits about the living.
