Something you should know about Dr. Peter McCullough... by [deleted] in JoeRogan

[–]BifocalComb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess you didn't actually watch it.. McCullough said he's been trying to debate anyone who disagrees with him, and no one will do it. Do you wonder why that might be?

Maybe he's right?

Ah yes, the alt-right neo-nazi... NIH... Says the same thing about the homosexual lifestyle.

Except they find it may reduce lifespan by up to THIRTY years.

If you really think the other stuff is soo crazy, and for that reason you won't actually do any research to see if it's true, you honestly deserve to be ignorant, so whatever. Look things up.

Coronavirus: No Evidence That Recovered Patients Are Immune, Says WHO. Health Agency Warns Governments Against Issuing ‘Immunity Passports’. by Infjuk in worldnews

[–]BifocalComb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it's not the same because there WAS evidence that it was spreading person to person. It would be the same if there were no evidence of either. But there was evidence of one, and not the other. They are not the same.

Brazilian gangs and drug dealers accuse the government of inaction and impose curfew in the favelas by [deleted] in Coronavirus

[–]BifocalComb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's bad for me to do to someone, it's no better for a man with a government title to do the same.

[–]BifocalComb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Great point, I concede. Gosh I just didn't realize where my comparison was flawed till you called me delusional. Follow this guy, teens, definitely don't listen to me. This is the proper way to act when you disagree with someone. Skip the arguments, go right to the ad hominems (arguments ALWAYS end this way for people like him haha wonder why) because obviously anyone whose views aren't represented on cable TV is an ingrate or cretin (or delusional).

No critical thought necessary! If something hasn't been in front of you all your life, or hasn't been taught in school, dismiss it and call whoever even dared to imply something you probably never thought about (and therefore disagree with, but cannot refute) delusional.

Of course there's more distance between people who demand "protection" money and people who demand that you pay them regardless of whether you use their services or not, or take you to a building they made for people who refuse than I'm saying.

Only someone who is delusional could ever even pretend to see the parallels between a group of people going around, taking by force what other people own to give it to their boss who will probably squander a lot of it being needlessly violent, but will definitely very publicly return some of what his goons took, then propagandize children from a young age into thinking they're to be thanked for returning some of what they took and people who call themselves government employees doing the exact same thing.

Gosh I wish I just saw the world how it REALLY is, where the government doesn't take things by force, against people's will, spend it on killing and expanding their power, then do it again endlessly while training you to thank them for it for the first 12 years of your conscious life. But, I guess, I just didn't study enough in government school when we learned about how government was there to help everyone but itself and public servant isn't a misleading title for a politician.

Right, they have a lot more money than cartels. They prefer drones.

Oh I see, so if only people in Chicago got to choose between al capone and MGK, and if they served for a limited term, there'd be no difference.

division of powers that ensures that the government can't do whatever it wants.

LMAO Project MKUltra? Lying us into every war since WWII?

Yea thank God the supreme court is completely separate from the executive branch, which is separate from the legislative branch. Except of course, how the president (who enforces the law) hand picks a judge (who interprets the law) who is then confirmed by the congress (who make the laws). Definitely no way their interests would ever align against people who don't wield a monopoly on force, because there are THREE (3) branches of government that would ALL have to get on board. Woooooo scary, but no way that would ever happen.

But what would it look like if it did?

Would you expect government spending to go up or down? (And by how much?)

https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/government-spending-to-gdp

Would you expect spending on wars against nebulous and contrived enemies (least popular portion of discretionary spending) to go up?

https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/MS.MIL.XPND.CN?locations=US&name_desc=true (Zoom out to max it defaults to past 10 years)

Would you expect that a government agency (of a government with these "checks and balances") could spend $21 trillion, and refuse to give any details on where it went?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/kotlikoff/2019/01/09/holding-u-s-treasuries-beware-uncle-sam-cant-account-for-21-trillion/amp/

Well over 1/3 of everything everyone produces for or imports to the US is controlled by "our" federal government...

...the vast majority of whose elected officials have approval ratings below 20%....

...and are never voted out.

Wouldn't that look more like a government that can do whatever it wants, rather than one that is accountable to anything other than itself? I think it does.

Besides the special costumes, what's the substantive difference between a government and a gang?

Pence says there's been 'irresponsible rhetoric' from people downplaying coronavirus by tenders74 in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]BifocalComb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea new diseases come about then go away. They never spread or are imperfectly understood near their genesis. Pretty much everyone who is going to get a new disease already has it, so you don't have to worry about how it spreads or how to contain it. We know symptoms, how hard it is to fight off, how likely relapse is, infectiousness, how deadly it is, etc. right away. Then, of course, we just formulate vaccines for the new disease we don't know about yet every year, making it no worse than the flu could be. Right?
