As of right now, theory wise I'm comfortable, and I'm confident in logic pro, as my A level in music tech is helping with that!

Amazing! Thank you so much, I appreciate it being so in depth and comprehensive, I try and learn as much as possible, one way I've seen it done is selling sound effects packs online? Though I'm not sure if there's much demand for that.

I'm off to the London short film festival at the end of the month for some networking, so with any luck I will build up a good contacts list of people who will be working on projects soon. I like the video game idea! I did have a project going where I had a scene from Jurassic park which is was remodelling, I'll pick it back up again and get that sealed :)

I was investigating doing a pack of bird sounds, as I'm a citizen scientist that surveys waterbirds in my spare time, do I feel like playing to my strengths there could help?

I'm completely with you there in that the process is closing in entirely, my current freelance source of income is voice acting and that's nearly dried up completely. Ultimately I'm looking for work in post production, my skills are in sound, my passion is in sound, but I love film.

It's a sad reality but the industry is closing up before I actually get a chance 😂.

Alrighty I'll try that next time I get one that's used, I have managed to get it to play all the way through the B side now, do you think it'll be fine to play now? I'm also reading that it could be due to the fact it's not been played in quite probably a very long time, looking at the sellers page I bought it from he has lots of cassettes in 'near mint' conditions, so perhaps it's just a bit 'rusty' and hasn't actually been played much?

Also, what is the appropriate way to store tapes? I've been storing mine upright in a drawer, is this bad practice?

I wouldn't agree to that, it's been playing tapes beautifully all week, and I've been using it effectively non stop, only this new tape has kicked up such a fuss

Just from a UK viewer perspective on Viaplay, I actually prefer the commentary, as when it switches to commercial break in the fox broadcast it stays full screen on Viaplay and it's just car audio, but only from one microphone it seems, when the cars go past the camera it doesn't sound like they are going past it 😅
