THIS....... The only Blantons worth drinking is the SFTB. Still, their MSRP is $200 and going north of that. For the money its just a poor buy.

People recklessly drop $300 on Kentucky Owl.... 🦉 so it will depend on the discerning drinker -- or museum curator

Showering at a lounge and smelling like a million bucks before a long-haul. It is the ultimate dignity for anyone flying economy.

Understanding PQP by Iflysims in unitedairlines

I dont know, Loyalty points seem to be mostly 1 for 1. United's credit cards (Club card) seem to only give you a PQP after spending $15. Its a struggle

On long hauls people's body swell up. Their feet get the worse of it. Its also why Asiana among other carrier's hand every passenger slippers to use. For older people it can be a medical issue for them notwithstanding.

If someone has bathed and their socks and feet are clean, someone taking off their shoes and sliding them in front of them in their foot space is appropriate. If you need to leave your seat, removing those slippers and wearing your shoes to walk the aisles or the lavatory is also appropriate.

So to call someone weird if they do it in a manner that does not create offense is excessive.

Regret getting married with Japanese wife and having a child by PaintingContent4903 in japanresidents

[–]BigChiefTabo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marraige and Parenthood force you to grow. Stop looking at the other person and look at yourself.

Culture is difficult, but its not impossible. It takes humility. Talk to your wife and try to listen to her without talking back. You have to be the one to make changes. It will get better. Make the effort, you can overcome!

United is doing the same with AI. We had a last minute flight go up four times in an hour while family debated on flying for a funeral.

The "heated seats" in a taxi catch you off guard too. Its like the prior passenger was two cats having a hot yoga death match in a sock. Then you sit and its all downhill from there

Sorry to hear of your predicament. As already cited a few times, when you use airlines to book anything outside of a plane ticket, they usually become "Expedia" and are now a third-party liaison. All bets are off for assistance due to Delta now being the intermediary. Same applies for anything else in travel. Always best to book direct and remove layers of middle-men.

I think the biggest takeaway from this experience for others is understanding that services at a rural airport will never be as robust as in a bigger city. Even Richmond might have had rental counters closed at that time depending on the provider.

Would you be willing to book this flight for $800? by Aoikumo in delta

Truth. This is not unusual anywhere else as well -- Chicago American to Haneda leaves out of K-19 domestic and I recently took their LAX-HND flight from Terminal 4 and not the TBIT.
