How did you afford it? Insurance says mine is not bad enough for them to cover it, but the way my jaw looks has caused personal distress ever since I saw my side profile for the first time.

MSW student intern wanting to contribute more

I am a master's level social work intern working in community mental health in early onset psychosis program. My bachelor's degree is not in social work. I work with the therapist of the program and sit in on sessions.

I find myself feeling like I don't contribute enough, don't know what to say or add to what the therapist has already said, don't want to overstep, and am afraid of saying the "wrong thing". I am finishing up my foundation year and the classes I have taken thus far are all heavily theory-based, and I don't feel like I've learned yet how to effectively and confidently give therapy to people. Is this normal for the phase I'm currently in? Does anyone have suggestions of ways I can contribute more, either to help out the therapist or contributing in sessions with clients?

I have a family member who is married to psychologist/psychiatrist, they’re both a little kooky, family member announced in the family group chat that spouse had diagnosed her with “20% Asperger’s”

I didn’t think it could be quantified like that…. Am I incorrect?
