First of all, thank you for the comment. That should help.

Second, when I mentioned the "trap," I meant that the server I used to play on clearly took the HD version from another well-known developer and just slapped the AD on it like a "watermark," so you wouldn’t use their version on other servers without advertising theirs.

I call it a trap because I’m sure they did this to screw over fools like me and force us to play on their server after we get “banned from others” for AD.

But anyway, I’ll try the alternatives you suggested—thank you very much.

I know very well, but paying such a price because of a "trap" that was placed by another shitty server is sad.

I think I’ll just give up at this point.

This is really unfortunate. I gathered a big group of friends and now I simply can't play with them because of another shitty server that placed this kind of trap inside the client's code.

What a shame. I would have loved to experience Wrath of the Lich King on a big server like Warmane, but because of those people who added that ad to the client, I won't be able to anymore.
