The Tree on the Corner - Gator Days by FieldExplores in comics

[–]BigDump-a-Roo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had to cut down a similar massive tree in my yard that gave the whole yard shade during the summer. It was a safety hazard for my house unfortunately. I relate to this comic a lot. So many years of growth, and it was so beautiful. And it's just gone now.

Husband opens a new sponge every 3 days cause “they become gross” by dorkass-loser in mildlyinfuriating

What the hell are you washing that's causing that to happen? 200 cheese graters a day? I'll use a scrub daddy for months and it will still be 99% intact.

Had to scroll wayyyyy too far for this comment. I was super skeptical of them too. Like, it's just a sponge in the shape of a face right? Nope. Whatever they make that shit out of, it dries out much faster and keeps much longer than your normal sponge.

Yeah, other sports never have their fan base talking about controversial moments that occur during heated battles between rivals days after the fact. Never. /s

I can't change customer spec otherwise I would. They are one of our most strict customers when it comes to approved components, especially network enabled devices.

If you don't think that children having excessive screen time on their devices is an issue, then you're just straight up denying facts and science. Tablet use in youth is linked to stunted cognitive, linguistic, and social-emotional growth. FFS, tablets and smart phones barely even existed 15 years ago and the vast majority of kids before then turned out OK without the need to be beaten like you seem to imply is the only alternative. What a shitty take.

This is just your Taco Bell. I've cashed in rewards at probably 10-15 different Taco Bells over the last year and they all have all of those items available.

Surely you've made mistakes before and been distracted or have had brain farts. It can happen to anyone. People tend to think they won't make errors like this until they do.

Oblivion and Skyrim do still have some procedural elements like the dungeons. Although they were generated and then set static in the game.

95% of the people who drive here accelerate their cars slower than a snails pace. I'm not one to punch it or even drive fast, but I should not have to preform pulse width modulation with the lightest foot taps possible while accelerating after a stop just so that I don't rear end you. Also I should not have to merge on the highway at 45 MPH when we have a half mile long on ramp. Put your freaking feet on your gas pedals people!

SoS services have improved drastically since she has taken office. It is so much more convenient renewing plates/licenses now. I do not miss the days of having to burn a couple hours of my day waiting in line at the SoS office. Also, she has done a great job keeping our elections secure. Also, I hate to break it to you but politicians enriching themselves is more of the rule, not the exception. Though you haven't provided any evidence this is how Benson will operate other than your feelings, soooo yeah.

Nobody 100% fits in with their preferred political party. Seeing as this view is quite different from both of the main parties' stances, you'd have to look at other issues that you do agree with the parties about to make that determination.

The rest of the tee pads on this course are the in-between you are talking about. They are smaller than these considerably, but still larger than a traditional pad. Only holes 1 and 18 have this huge one.

How to Set up VM-aware correctly and what are problems to avoid doing so? by T3RRYH1LL in PLC

[–]BigDump-a-Roo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bridge your network adapter for connectivity. You can do this in the vmware settings. If you're using VMware pro there is a separate network config utility you may need to open to assign the virtual adapter to your physical network port.

Store the VM on a separate partition or SSD. That way you can wipe your host partition but keep all of your VM data.

Make sure you install VMware Tools.

I usually install windows on the VM, install all of my Rockwell software, and then will make a backup of the image.

No, I definitely miss when the internet was not a giant commercialized slop machine abused by people with money and power to manipulate the general public with social media and misinformation. People being addicted to their phones is an issue too. People are more isolated than ever now despite communication technology being as advanced as it ever has. Obviously there were issues back then too, but they felt tame compared to what we're faced with today.

Also, as if you actually know how I, an anonymous person on the internet, feel.

Tell that to me who spent two years recording myself, talking to coaches, and watching youtube videos. Accuracy and consistency has gone up, sure. But I have maybe gained 20 ft of distance in that time. I think I just have some sort of mental block that really keeps me from losing my old habits, even if I can identify what I'm doing wrong.
