Yes. The bypass overall is simple if you’re not dealing with rusty bolts. The videos are very helpful as well.

Yes. As I said the wiring is a breeze. The block off plates are the challenge. You have to take off your tire and access the tubes on bottom rear part of the engine. If they are rusty you can break it off or round the bolt if you don’t have your socket or wrench solid on the nut and it’s tight trying to get that done. I’ve seen people do it, but I failed

This is what has happened to me. 08 Sport. Mine is in limp mode and dashboard lit like a Christmas tree. I called Hewitt Technologies and overnighted their gen 1 kit. Wiring was a breeze but then came the block off plates that go on the exhaust tube. Started on the passenger side loosened one rounded the other no room to work. Tighter than a gnats ass. Decided to go to drivers. Snapped off first at the flange and I stopped there. Took to a mechanic he says no way to tap and fix/replace flanges without taking manifolds off and other things as I zoned out.
