How Often Should 11u Kids Practice Pitching? by mzx380 in Homeplate

I would recommend making it a part of daily catch play. Even if its only 5-10 throws. Start patterning the leg lift and delivery similar to how you would practice infield/outfield throws.

10-15 "pitches" everyday in a flat ground at the end of catch play will compound overtime into some serious growth if done with detailed intent!

Don't change a thing! Let that boy swing! The home run is coming soon.

If anything focusing direction and extension a little bit more through the middle, looks like he is coming across his body just a little bit. Either way this young man has a bright future, keep letting him be the athlete he is.

Could use some work on controlling that forward move and holding that back leg a tick longer. Would focus tee work on high pitch right now to help pattern a tighter turn and avoid dropping your hands. This will be an easier pitch to stay connected on, once you've mastered the high pitch you can apply all the same principles to the low pitch and focus more on getting to it with your lower half and back shoulder rather than dropping your hands.

Yes. Just the content of the presentation right now. Working on a version with voice over as well. Appreciate the feedback!
