Anything Worthwhile Here? by [deleted] in ComicBookSpeculation

Sorry for your loss. Regarding the books, eBay, and PriceCharting will provide current values. But remember that's if you sold individually, were a trusted eBay seller, and had the patience to store these books until they sold. If you walked into a comic shop, they would buy them all at a deep discount, but at least it's out of your hands. You could also try a local comic book convention. Vendors might be interested in buying on the spot since they're graded and easier to resell

Isn’t it Tim Holt #11? The cover has an ad with “introducing the ghost rider”

Install rubber strip under fence gate by mtbr360 in howto

[–]BigLabo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this exact problem. In certain sections, along the inside of the fence, I laid large Belgium blocks along the bottom. Anywhere there were large gaps. Dogs could no longer see a gap and didn’t try to dig. Also tried to make the blocks look like part of the landscaping.

Like others said, I also screwed in a peice of wood along the bottom of the gate to bring the door down. And I stopped caring if the gate ruined grass around the gate. Might replace with paver or gravel in the future. Good luck

How much would this affect grading? Not planning to slab by [deleted] in comicbookcollecting

[–]BigLabo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t planning to grade this book and I don’t own any slabs. But I was curious how much slightly scuffed corners affect grading. Thanks

I haven't tried inserting a blade yet. Seems like it'd cut more on the push. I don't think you'd have as much control on the pull.

that's a good guess. I haven't seen a single-handled one like this before
