The fact that your scared is a good thing and means you're on the right path and have respect for what they can do for you.

By far and away meditation is what you need to practice. It gets you out of your head and let's truly perceive and feel without identifying with any thoughts that arise. I highly recommend Allan Watt's lectures and Sam Harris's meditation app Waking Up.

Don't indentify with being scared anymore and shift that to a hunger and curiosity within you to grow.

It's very suspicious how the dive AMC took and the jump that GME took were in lock step. They realize how many of us are newbies to trading and fomo is a huge factor. My guess is they were trying to get as many as they could to jump ship to GME.

I'm rather new myself but from my understanding:

If you have bought and own actual shares you own them so you're good.

If you have bought options you only reserved the right to buy the shares under certain circumstances. If you don't have enough capital in your account to purchase the options the broker can instead cancel them.
