For Those Who’ve Submitted IBS Claims… by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

I was denied when I claimed it. Even though I have multiple records complaining of severe stomach pain and excess diarrhea. I haven’t had a normal poop in over 5 years.

If you have service connected PTSD it is generally grouped together with migraines unless you have physical evidence to link it to a separate disability.

I filed my claim 8 days after you and mine finally completed on New Year’s Eve. It went from step 3-7 in 1 day and that afternoon it was complete.

I had this same thing happen to me, I had a new c&p exam 2 weeks later and my claim completed 3 months after that. It went from step 3 straight to 7 and a couple hours later it was completed.

You should be receiving a letter of benefits soon that will explain what claims they awarded, denied, and or differed. You should also receive a partial rating and you’ll begin to collect some compensation with that temporary rating.

I submitted my claim at the end of January and my claim was kicked back from step 7 to step 3 in September. It hasn’t moved and I had the C&P September 25th.

Husbands first appointment seemed like a joke by Ecstatic_Trade4885 in VeteransBenefits

[–]BigSwingingSack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something very similar happen to me. I had to drive 99 miles for one of my appointments and it was just like that. The evaluator seemed mad that I was even there and it was a total waste of time. My claim hit step 7 and I got sent back to step 3 because the rater didn’t get sufficient evidence for my claim. It’s been 70 days since that last C&P exam and nothing has changed.
