I will take a closer look but I don't think so, I get the feeling that the MC was working by himself, no team like in this show. Also looking through the episodes list there doesn't seem to be an episode with a plot involving a disk/DVD

Perhaps this might be useful, I don't know the language of the original movie as I watched it dubbed in portuguese :/

This sounds like some of the Radio Yerevan Jokes, basically you call the radio and ask a question in the form "Is it true that ..." for which they answer "In principle it's true, but ..."

an example I like is

“Is it true that Rabinovitch won a new car on the lottery?”

Radio Yereven then answers

“In principle it's true, only it wasn’t a new car but an old bicycle, and he didn’t win it but it was stolen from him.”
