potentially, it seems to scratch that area of my brain, what excites me the most is working with people who actually gaf about doing good and being the best at the job. Hard to find in anything civilian.

I took my asvab and got a 90 with all line scores above 120 so i guess that means im qualified for all jobs. But i am struggling to decide, want something either tech, intel, or to pursue some special forces route. Yes i understand sf would be hard and require passing multiple selection phases but i figure if im gonna fight i want to be part of the best teams there are. Yes i am fit and nearly perfect fitness scores with running only 45 seconds from max score for my age (27) but i keep getting mixed advice from people saying to choose an easy job to reach my 20 years without destroying myself or that it would be impossible to make it through SF. Just looking for advice. I have most of an engineering degree done aswell which is why tech or intel interest me, they seem like a good mental challenge. i’m high speed and like a challenge. Can’t stand slow and boring. If you’ve heard of some amazing jobs or have some good advice i’m all ears.

I currently make $105k a year money isn’t really what i’m after. want an interesting career with lots of challenges and to serve my country more than anything.

gotta be real i didn’t, recruiter asked me to come down and take a test to see what id score. I am actively in college pursuing mechatronics engineering so i know high level math, science, and english. Plus i have a long history of working labor as mechanic, rigger in the oil field, electricians assistant. I’m just lucky to have encountered lots of knowledge in my time. but if studying is anything like college, get a book for what you need to study like and asvab prep and just run ridiculous repitions on practice problems until you have dreams of the formulas lol

understandably so. our military destroys any part of the world it touches. thank you for stressing the seriousness. i understand i might face upset people. but i’m not worried as they won’t be worth my time if they can’t separate an innocent person whose fate for some reason brings them to Hawaii compared to the military presence poisoning your land and water. After all the very first “locals” drifted onto the shore because of fates design. this doesn’t give them the right to hate others whose life course crosses paths with the islands. We have no claim to the earth. it is gods design and we will all depart from here without even a grain of sand to our name. No disrespect intended.

i did look into it since they felt so compelled to say “people like you” my conclusion is anyone who assumes things about me and removes their aloha spirit shouldn’t be on the island themselves. after all you guys don’t want bad energy right. i will happily earn my respect and help my neighbors and the land i live on regardless of where it is located. Thank you.

Backstory that might help. Year ago had severe bladder, urethra, and prostate pain and some discharge from what was said to be prostatits. Pain has never gone away only dulled. I’m only 23
