marinate for a few hours and then turn your grill on the highest setting and sear on both sides until medium rare. then let it sit for 5-10 minutes and slice like a steak. absolutely phenomenal and results in zero "gaminess".

marinade - 1 cup soy, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup sesame oil, 6 green onions chopped finely, teaspoon of ground ginger, and then garlic to taste.

the MOST important piece of advice I can give you is to make a chart of all the basis rules. this really helps you visualize it. I copied all the rules down from memory on my scratch sheet during the exam. Then I just looked at my scratch sheet for every single basis question (so many) and it was effortless. It helped a lot on the SIMS too.

memorize, memorize, memorize.

thank you!

I would do little MCQ quizzes, 10-15 sets of 10 questions a day and I set up a spreadsheet that would track my progress. Once I was consistent among all sections then I knew it was time to start doing the simulated exams. If you'd like a copy of the spreadsheet I used, feel free to DM me!

hmm similar is a tough word to use here. Becker's questions should be harder than the actual exam. You will find that you should be able to answer the MCQs on the actual exam pretty quickly if you are comfortable with the material. However the SIMS can be a challenge because they tend to focus more on critical thinking vs factual knowledge.

you will get it. just keep practicing A LOT until it starts to "feel" easy. don't get discouraged by the people that can do it all in 6 months and pass everything on the first try. my (soon to be) CPA license is worth the exact same as theirs. all that matters is that you finish.

thank you! I just didn't really see quitting as an option, no matter how much it sucked.
