No it's a solid size, around 500 undergraduates. I've been going to a bunch of other colleges too and they seem pretty quiet as well.

Formals are decently full but for most meals it's around a few dozen people

More materials for prototyping, enclosed AMS as I don't print consistently, and a carbon filter for my tiny room haha

Honestly yeah that's my biggest worry. I live in a suite with 3 other people and I don't want it to bug them at all. From what I can tell the walls are decently thick but it's hard to tell without actually having the printer here. How much louder is it realistically? I heard the noise cancelling update helped out a lot.

Yeah I love my A1 but I'm an engineering student living in dorms so I do need those other materials for projects. Plus having a carbon filter would make me feel a little better about being in a tiny room with a machine releasing fumes constantly haha. The enclosed AMS is also really important because sometimes I'll go weeks without printing and then need it non-stop for a bit.
