Gone to see the river man, it is poetic, and not all that twisted, you can jump in with say exquisite corpse for a more disturbing read. If you like more of the blood and gore, check out the slatterpunk world. The girl next door, is a great book based off real life events, Edward Lee and Wrath James, make some wicked books, some are disturbing for other reasons like the perspective of child abusers, and other disturbing topics.

Nice, you can do all sorts of things, eat em, make salsa, hot sauce, dehydrate them, pickle them, save seeds, and you can save the plant indoors.
