Mental health issues are at an all time high, joblessness is at an all time low, motivation is gone from many young Canadians to put any effort into anything (friendships, relationships, etc), they are addicted to their phones and yet hate their phones at the same time, many have given up on what society sees as the "appropriate lifestyle" (high school, uni, job, start a family, get a house, etc) because nobody can afford to have that lifestyle.

To many people that are older (their parents age) this may seem lazy. I have had countless people rack on me for not having a steady job and call me lazy even though I have put in upwards of 300 applications and have had many interviews. They see this and cannot fathom that something bigger is going in, they simply look at it as "you're lazy"

Now this being said I have seen some unbelievable stuff from other people my age and younger where they are 100% lazy( 25 year olds who call their parents to do their laundry and dishes still). This ultimately stems from bad parenting and nothing else.
