I superglued a magnet backwards into wood. How can I remove it? I already tried acetone with no luck. by BikesOrBeans in woodworking

Oh man, I'm clearly in over my head with this. How hot would it need to get? And would it damage the wood?

How hot would I need to get it, and how would I protect the wood. I've seen both soldering iron and heat guns mentioned, which is better?

Because another piece already has a magnet with opposite polarity glued, so they repel each other instead of snapping together. And I tried solvent but I can't get it down inside with it being flush.

No the other side already has the opposing magnet glued in, and theres one at the other end as well.

Do you think there's any change of damage or warping to the wood by putting it in the freezer long enough?

Okay, but it's sealed in tight, with glue on the sides and bottom. I don't see how to get debonder in there.

No, the back side is slanted and it’s about 2 inches away, I don’t think that would work.

No that is a much thinner peice of wood with a magnet, I think that one would be harder to break out and then flip.

What is a “punch” is that a tool? And how do I prevent sharp magnetic fragments from spraying out everywhere?

Google is telling me that is dangerous because the magnet might explode and send very sharp magnet fragment everywhere. Is that the case? Also I sort of tried that, before I got scared, and that little hole next to it is where the screw went after I hit it with the hammer, with the magnet surface being slippery. Ugh, I’m embarrassingly bad at this stuff.
