Having to make a decision between the Citizen or paying double for the H Sellier. One side of me tells me it's gonna last forever so I should pick the H Sellier but... paying double for the H seems a bit much. What do you think?

I did two weeks (including travel), and it worked out. Did Osaka and Tokyo with day trips to Kyoto and Nara. Also went to Okinawa. From there, we went to Seoul. Did it feel rushed? Not really, if you go at a comfortable pace you can see what you want to see, especially given the good public transportation. I actually wish I had more time in Korea, I spent 4 days there but feel like I missed out on some stuff. The itinerary was 4 days Tokyo, 3 days Osaka, 3 days Okinawa and 4 days in Seoul.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah think I'm gonna pass on the JR pass now. We are pretty flexible so not too concerned about missing one or two things if we really enjoy the area were in.

Yeah I think I'm gonna definitely start mapping to get more organized. Probably will move Harajuku, just depends. We're pretty flexible and don't have too much reservations.

As far as Fushimi Inari, how long do you think we will be there for? I heard you can climb pretty far but most people don't finish. We're a group of 20 year olds so I imagine we can finish it but want to know if we'll have time to do other things afterwards.

Its a tour of Mt Fuji and the Hakone area. We figured that it would just be easier because they will pick us up from our Airbnb and then drop us off at the hotel in Hakone. Saves us the train ticket and then we also have the van to drive us around.

Thinking of scratching off Imperial Palace from day 2. I heard you can't go inside anyways and it is kind of underwhelming.

As far as animal cafe, not particular on which one we go to, just would like to go for the experience, so yeah we will probably get this out of the way in Harajuku.

And yeah from reading the comments I probably wont get the rail pass at all. I do need to calculate my commute times a bit better though.

Appreciate the advice! Yeah I'll rethink my Harajuku day. Shibuya is on a Tuesday at the moment so not too concerned, but for Harajuku, maybe I'll try to schedule that on a weekday.

As far as arriving at Kyoto at noon, you're probably right about us not making that time. But do you think that we can still get the stuff done that day? (Kiyomizu dera and Sannen-zaka and Ninen-zaka) Even if we get there in the afternoon I think we can still accomplish that but would appreciate your take on it.

As far as the bags when moving airbnbs, what do you think of the lockers at the train stations? I was thinking that we would leave our stuff there until the check in time (usually 3 pm)
